Rakle Posted June 4, 2022 Clone Share Posted June 4, 2022 Is there ability for the person viewing posts to set limits on image sizes? Or can that setting be added? Mostly I use my laptop for MW, and many of these images are too big. Some of these images are 2, 3 or more pages long. As an example, I had to zoom out to 33% to get this image on one page. bwatford Posted June 4, 2022 Clone Share Posted June 4, 2022 Can you please link to an offending post, and I will have a look. Image control is based on screen resolution. Can you also please let us know what resolution you are viewing at as well.

If no image size is specified then the forum makes the image flexible up to its original size. So if a user adds a really large image and doesn't specify a size limit then the image will grow on larger displays. We might need to set a hard image size limit as far as max width goes. @Eric thoughts?
bwatford Posted June 19, 2022 Clone Share Posted June 19, 2022 @Eric in the case above, we can hard cap image width inside post, but I am wondering what that cap should be because we are dealing with multiple display sizes. 800 px seems too low, maybe 1080? But the offending post linked above are not much wider than that it is that they are just long due to the original image. Not sure there is a happy medium here, that was the original intent of the "flex". If we want a cap it may need to be done in the editor to not allow image size over x. Thoughts? Tsunami1768 Posted August 26, 2022 Clone Share Posted August 26, 2022 I will leave this up to you guys, i have always used [img2=xx] for just about every pic on OGMW. though it will take some getting used on the user end when viewing on a pc compared to a mobile. PC=thats a huge pic vs. mobile = still looks good, lol..
