leons1701 Posted June 5, 2022 Clone Share Posted June 5, 2022 That is of course, because it IS Metropolis Not my favorite poster, but it's one of the few that points out the pedigrees of the folks involved. The whole story is apparently a bit crazy, it's not entirely clear if Osamu Tezuka ever actually saw Lang's movie when he made an anime loosely based on it (he later said a single still was the main inspiration) but the anime blends elements of both the manga and the movie to somewhat mixed results.
