  11. "Let's wait and see what they do." While crouched next to the cart, Allen says, "Somebody make sure the mule does not give us away."
  12. Save or die is a big risk, however, my PC has a pretty good AC so that being said, I will go with the majority on this. I think that since they are wild animals, fire might be a natural deterrent.
  13. Moving back with their guide Allen suggests " Why don't we pour oil on the ground and light it as they cross?" He looks to Black Dugal " If BD hits one of them with that thing they will ignite the oil on the ground as well perhaps that will drive them off." OOC: sorry for such a short post but I wanted to include something for today.
  14. Valandil walks back over to the symbol etched into the door, his expression thoughtful as he considers the arrangement of the elemental symbols. He glances back at the mosaic on the floor, which forms an eight-pointed star with specific elemental associations. "Perhaps we are looking at this wrong," he muses aloud, his monotone voice conveying his analytical approach. "The symbols are arranged Fire, Water, Air, and Earth." With deliberate steps, Valandil positions himself at the point of the star facing the door, which he identifies as representing “ Fire ” (North). He then skips the next point (Northeast), as it is empty. Moving to the following point (East), he recognizes it as representing “Earth.” Continuing around the star, he skips the next point (Southeast), moves to the subsequent point (South), representing “Water,” and skips the point after that (Southwest). Finally, he completes the circle, skipping the next point (West) and stopping at the last one (Northwest), representing “Air.” Raising his arms out to his sides, Valandil gestures to indicate the entirety of the mosaic, now correctly interpreted based on the elemental associations and the skipping of intermediary points within the eight-pointed star. "Fire opposes Water, and Air opposes Earth," he concludes, his logical deduction guiding his interpretation of the elemental arrangement within the mosaic.
  15. what does the floor look like again? can my character match up the pattern on the wall with a pattern on the floor?
  16. Jouka slid the small dagger into his belt and approached the caged beast, making soothing animalistic sounds as he drew nearer. With deliberate care, he reached his massive hand up and placed it on the lion-like beast's snout, gently rubbing it while working to unlatch the cage door with his other hand. "Easy, Tatonka," he murmured in a deep, calming voice. "You will be free soon enough." The creature, its eyes reflecting a mix of fear and curiosity, seemed to respond to Jouka's touch and voice. As the latch finally gave way with a soft click, Jouka swung the cage door open, stepping back slightly to give the beast space. "There you go," Jouka said, his tone reassuring. "You're safe now." The lion-like creature hesitated for a moment, then cautiously emerged from the cage, sniffing the air and eyeing Jouka with wary gratitude. Sensing the creature's wariness, Jouka remained calm and still, allowing it to approach him at its own pace. As the beast drew nearer, Jouka extended a hand, palm up, offering friendship and trust. The creature sniffed his hand, then leaned into Jouka's touch, a silent gesture of acceptance. With a nod of satisfaction, Jouka gestured for the creature to follow. Together, they joined the others in the room

  24. in order to get a bigger pay out we may at some point want to consider staying in the moors overnight perhaps over a couple of days, we will need to find a secure empty tomb and maybe hire retainers or henchmen to help with watches while we explore.
