With everyone gathered on the bottom step of the spiral staircase, Modred allows Yolanda to take the lead in guiding them back towards the inn. Following closely behind, Modred reflects on their expedition to the wizard's tower, already formulating plans for their next venture. 2. “Not likely,” Jouka says while walking toward the other captives, Tatonka trots up beside the blue giant as he crosses the space to where the prisoners are. ”Bhanomuzz, my master, and his companions are not only vile sorcerers but they are also Morgal.” Jouka lays his free hand on one of the bound slaves and says a small prayer before plunging the knife into his heart. He then moves on to the next prisoner who looks up at him with pleading eyes. The Blue Giant says another prayer and likewise slays him. As he moves on to the next Jouka continues. “He and his companions are not human, they are a coven of Morgal that sailed here in haste to search for an artifact known as the script, I overheard them talk about it over many nights while they feasted on the lifeblood of these unlucky souls.” Jouka continues on his grisly task. “We were oarsmen on the ship, they did not find my blood palatable so left me alone.” With his grisly task complete he offers the young girl her dagger back. “They are in league with a circle of yellow Druids followers of Morgazzon the mad I think.”

  5. Allen pitched in to load the treasure into the cart, his muscles straining under the weight of the valuable loot. With determination, he assisted in getting the cart ready for the journey back to the Inn. "BD, I agree. We'll need to be well-equipped if we are to make any sort of profit down there," Allen remarked, wiping sweat from his brow. "Perhaps we could even hire a few extra hands to help carry treasure and provide additional light if we can afford it." Once the preparations were complete, the party made their way back to town with the cart laden with treasure. Allen joined in the efforts to sell their findings, negotiating with potential buyers to secure the best prices for their haul. After completing the transactions, Allen reconvened with the others at the inn, eager to rest and strategize for their next expedition into the depths of the Barrowmounds. Sitting among his companions, he listened intently to their discussions, his mind already racing with plans and possibilities for their continued adventures in pursuit of wealth and glory.

"We need to be getting back, but I would like to conduct a quick search and see if she may have left anything behind." Turning to his henchman, Modred asks, "Allen, would you mind going up before me and being on your guard?" The young fighter nods in agreement, readying his shield and placing his hand on the pommel of his sword as he ascends the stairs. Modred then glances at his companions, a hint of anticipation in his eyes. "Coming?" he asks, inviting them to join him in exploring the upper levels of the wizard's tower.
