  1. Amdiran, Son of Amdirgir | Dunédain Warden (Counselor) 4 AC: 15/17 | HP: 27/27 | HD: 4/4d8 | Initiative: +4 | Passive Perception: 17 | Warden's Gift: 3/3 | Discourse 1/1 | Foresight: 1/1 Shadow Points: 3 | DM Inspiration: 0/1 Amdiran startles a bit as Dandi suddenly begins speaking to him. The usually keen-eyed Ranger had no idea there was a hobbit following him. "And that was fine sneaking on your part as well, Dandi," he chuckles. "I didn't even see you there. Let's head back to report to the others." Amdiran walks the rest of the way back to Léofwyn and Orn with the hobbit by his side. Once they return, he reports what he has seen and asks Orn's opinions about the crebain. Tabletop
  2. Arlo Thistleknott Kender Entertainer Arcane Trickster Rogue AC: 16 (Studded Leather) | HP: 48/48 | Speed: 40 ft. Senses: passive Perception 18, Insight 15, Investigation 16 Str: 8 (-1) | Dex: 18 (+4) | Con: 14 (+2) | Int: 14 (+2) | Wis: 12 (+1) | Cha: 10 (+0) Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common, Kenderspeak, and Thieves' Cant Arlo is delighted by all of his new friends, but Hunni is currently his favorite for teaching him the song. He likes that Coltan's hammer can flame, and thinks that if he's very good perhaps Coltan will let him turn the flames on. Merituuli has an osprey, which Arlo feels is a sterling character reference. Since the bird likes the sea elf, Arlo does too. He feels a little intimidated by Artanis because none of the knights he's met have appreciated having a Kender around. Still, Artanis seems nice. Arlo is a little scared of Modri after seeing how ferociously the dwarf fights, but he's reassured by how friendly Modri is after the battle. All goes well until Hunni mentions eating one of his new rat friends. Arlo stops blowing on the pipes and gives her a horrified look. "Hunni," he says with complete sincereity, "rats are friends, not food." Back in Kalaman, Arlo feels a little overawed by the palace, which he'd never been allowed in before. His eyes go wide as Lady Michelle introduces himself and then wider still when Modri mentions that she "spent time" with the Red Dragonarmy. "I'm Arlo Thistlenott," he says when she turns her attention to him. "I'm from Kendermore, and I'm looking for my Uncle Trapspringer. Did you know that he once ended up in an ogre's stewpot? He convinced the ogre that Kender taste better when they're in a salad, rather than a stew, and it turned out the ogre didn't like salad, so he let Uncle Trapspringer go. But I'm not sure where he's gone since then. Do you?" When Hunni takes him to Wyhan's shop, Arlo realizes that this is the first time he's ever actually been allowed in a mageware shop. He mostly listens to Wyhan as she gives a good speech about why Kender should be mages, but there are too many wonderful things around him to really pay attention to her. He sees a cuckoo-clock that is running backwards, a jade toad that actually hops, and so many other marvelous things. Something clinks against his foot, and he looks down to find a potion vial filled with blue liquid. Someone must have dropped this, he thinks to himself and bends down to pick it up. Before he can give it back to Wyhan, he gets distracted by rows and rows of spellbooks on a bookcase. While he's paying attention to them, his hand absentmindedly puts the vial in one of his pouches for safe keeping. And then Wyhan's speech is over, and she's hurrying them out of the shop, which is a shame because Arlo was really interested in buying something, and then the door, which is open, does something an open door has never done before and refuses to let him leave. Before he can do anything, Wyhan magics the potion that he forgot about out of his pocket and back onto a shelf. As the magical force helps him leave the shop in style, Arlo calls out behind his shoulder, "You must have dropped that! I'm glad I helped you find it!" Outside the store, he smiles at Hunni. "That was amazing. Wyhan may be even more awesome than Par-Salian, which I didn't know was possible. Do you think she'd let me join the Black Robes? I'd like to be able to see Nuitari, and I hear that only Black Robes can. It's odd that there's a moon that most people can't see, don't you think? Can we study for the Test of High Sorcery together?" OOC Action: Move: Bonus Action: Taunt: 3/3 Spell Slots: 3/3 1st Level Pipes of the Sewers: 3/3 charges
  3. Palast, 31st of Gildember, Morning Moon Magic White Robes receive a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and spell save DCs. Solinari (17+1)--High Sanction, 7 days to Waning Lunitari (17+1)--Waning, 1 days to Waning Nuitari (5)--Waxing, 2 days to High Sanction Rath Modar gives Callista a suspicious look. "I know Azbara is particularly accommodating for a servant of Nuitari. How do I know you won't follow your moon god's orders and kill me for daring to practice magic without his permission?" the sorcerer asks. "As for what I want... I want Takhisis' return. Without her divine leadership, the Knights of Neraka have lost our way. The glory days of Ariakan are well behind us. The Vision and the Blood Oath lost all meaning without Takhisis, and my fellow knights had the audacity to forsake her worship! She created us! She gave us meaning!" He stares directly at Aubryn. "I don't think you're going to help with that. You'll spout some noble drivel about sacrifice and balance and how Paladine sacrificed himself to save us all. But don't you want him back? Wouldn't you do anything to help him ascend to the Dome of Creation again? Can you really blame me for being loyal to my goddess?" Tabletop You are in Area 12. Map
  4. Looks like introductions are going well. I'm hanging back while you RP this scene. feel free to jump in at any point.
  5. Yeah, I have nothing but sympathy for you right now. This is the worst part of being a GM on Myth-Weavers.
  6. Yeah, this is always the hardest time... Good luck everyone!

"It's a crebain, not a woman," he tells them. "What can you tell us of these birds, Orn? I know your people have special friendships with them. Why would one be so far from the Lonely Mountain?" For his part, Amdiran's curiosity is piqued. Unless Orn counsels otherwise, he is inclined to investigate the situation further. Tabletop

"I do not want to abandon someone in need, but our enemies are cunning. This might be a trap. Let me see what I can. I will report back." Moving as quietly as he can, Amdiran moves in the direction Léofwyn heard the noise. He tries to search the area and report back to his companions. Tabletop
  9. I moved it. I accidentally moved another sheet instead of Tel's. This is what happens when you do recruitment for two games at the same time!
  10. Arlo Thistleknott Kender Entertainer Arcane Trickster Rogue AC: 16 (Studded Leather) | HP: 48/48 | Speed: 40 ft. Senses: passive Perception 18, Insight 15, Investigation 16 Str: 8 (-1) | Dex: 18 (+4) | Con: 14 (+2) | Int: 14 (+2) | Wis: 12 (+1) | Cha: 10 (+0) Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common, Kenderspeak, and Thieves' Cant In the immediate aftermath of the fight, Arlo looks at the giant, screaming, spectral Coltan. He's never seen anything like this before. He'd heard rumors that the dragon meanies did things when you killed them, but he hadn't expected the things they did to be so amazing. "How do you think the silver dragon thing did that?" he asks Fairla. "Do you think that I could have a Mage of High Sorcery make something like that happen at my funeral? I think my friends and relations would be very impressed by it. I'd pay well. I'd even give them my button collection, and I have at least seventy-two buttons." When Mayor-cum-Lieutenant Raven arrives on the scene, Arlo gives him a surprisingly smart salute. "Arlo Thistleknott, highly irregular member of the Kalaman Militia reporting for duty, sir!" It probably isn't even a lie, Arlo is certain. Although his offer to enlist had been repeatedly refused, now that he'd liberated a fort, Arlo was sure that he had to be a member of the militia. Arlo then wanders off before he can see Raven's reaction to a Kender soldier. Along with Vigdan, he finds a lot of supplies, which makes everyone happy. No one even notices when some of the items make their way into his pouches. When the party heads back toward Kalaman, Arlo spends a great deal of time with Hunni. After all, she's the closest to his size, and she knows how to make magical music. "Will you teach me that song?" he asks her. "It's very catchy!" At some point on the journey, Arlo notice that Hunni has dropped a set of pan pipes. They, too, make it into one of his pouches, because he's certain that she will want them later. When she mentions her test, Arlo's eyes widen. "Do you need help studying? Can you put in a good word for me? Par-Salian said that Kender weren't allowed to take the Test, but maybe you could convince him that I should be an exception? What do you think the Test is like? Do you think you have to write an essay?" The stream of questions continues endlessly. When the others talk about needing to rescue a knight, Arlo figures that he'll just tag along. After all, they're all his new friends, and he's sure that they'll need his help. Most people do. OOC Action: Move: Bonus Action: Taunt: 3/3 Spell Slots: 3/3 1st Level
  11. Any objections to Arlo taking a potion of healing? He can dash 80' as a bonus action, so he's the most mobile party member to get a potion to a downed PC.
  12. Tuesday, 24th of Winter Night, Mid-Day Moon Magic Lunitari and Nuitari are in conjunction and at Low Sanction. The bonus for being in conjunction cancels out the penalty for being at Low Sanction. All Wizards of High Sorcery cast spells as normal. Solinari (19)--Waning, 3 days to Low Sanction Lunitari (16)--Low Sanction, 7 days to Waxing Nuitari (3)--Low Sanction, 2 days to Low Waxing Gareth's words surprisingly find Derek Crownguard in an obliging mood. "Sir Gareth, I believe the Orb may have influenced my thoughts," he says. "I beg your pardon if I have acted in an unknightly fashion toward you. I have not been myself. I would be glad if you would share the burden of the Orb with me. Perhaps Habakkuk can shield you from its influence." As Gareth takes the Dragon Orb, he notes that it feels much heavier in his hands than its appearance would indicate. When his hands are in contact with the Orb, he hears a soft whispering sound. He can almost make out words, but not quite. Whatever the sound is, it is filled with hatred and malice. Aran takes charge of the sailors who did not flee in terror. Under his leadership, they form a search party to search for their shipmates whom Araxis' spell scared off. The knight bids you a courteous farewell, trusting that you will meet again on Sancrist, if not before. The Kagonesti village offers you a respite after the harrowing events of the morning and the past day. You smell the delicious smells of roasting meat. Silvara smiles at you. "Make yourselves at ease," she says. "There are some here I would have you meet before we depart." Among the elves, you see two odd figures: a kender and a half-ogre. You wonder how they came to be among the reclusive wild elves. They are in conversation with one of the Kagonesti. Tabletop
