  1. Greetings everyone, and a Happy New Year (American style) to all wherever and whenever you are in the world. I know that I have been on hiatus for quite a bit now, and in all likelihood that will continue for some time yet; however, I wanted to tell you I was thinking of you all through Yuletide (or whatever you care to call your winter-solstice celebration). I want you all to know that I and my daughter are well, as is my SO – our family is thriving, and the time I’ve taken from being with all of my friends on myth weavers has been going to them. Some of you know the work-related issues that have necessitated my hiatus, and those circumstances are still not resolved; but I wanted to say that I miss you all, and let my GMs know that you may continue to do whatever you like with my characters for the time being. My love and my thanks to everyone, and I’m sorry that some are not getting more personal messages, but my feelings toward my fellow gamers is still strong and positive. I hope myth-weavers thrives in my absence. Be well and may the new year grace you all with abundance!

  8. From everything I can see, we are still one day into looking for Vanthie, we are all still level one, and there was no response on my orphan network inquiry. Correct?
  9. Sorry that I have been away for a bit. I notified most of my games, did I remember to say something here?
  10. Back at the house, in her father's lab, Val prepares to craft paper bullets for herself and Violet, "If anyone needs help with any of the alchemical processes, let me know, I will try to aid you."
  11. School is worse, but when we get moving, I'll be here.
  12. Val nods, "Some of what you guys want can be purchased at the general store owned by Inkrit Kollisun, others from Joram Kyte at the Temple of Brigh, and still more perhaps from various merchants and artisans at the Torch Guildhouse. As far as the alchemical items, let's just raid my dad's lab or make what we need there - he's the only real alchemist in town;,\ but keep a list, he will want to be reimbursed. I'll need to pick up a few things to suppliment what I have in order to make some more paper bullets for me and Violet."
  13. Val winks at the trader, "All right, you talked us into it, you are really good at this!"
  14. Noriko slooks up, and stands ready with her star knife, "Be careful, we've no idea what's behind it."
  15. I'm here. Have had a horrible couple of days at the start of school. No AC. Let me see where we are at.
  16. Val smiles at the trader, "I like that number a lot better, and let me tell you why. It's entirely likely that we would end up spending some of the money you give us on your own wares. So, if 2000 is too much, how about 1600 and 800 in credit with your own goods? Or just the 2000."
  17. As Rodin is being pulled out of the room, Kethra rushes forward and lays a hand on her comrade, "May the healing of the Lady of Mysteries be upon you."   AppearanceTall, thin and blonde; the young 's woman's bone structure speaks to her proud Illuskan ancestry and the fierce warriors and sailors who founded her bloodline. The young scholar has eyes like the sea after a storm and a fair complexion made pale by hours and hours in ivory towers. Scholar by nature and librarian by training; Kethra is a bibliophile, almost as passionate about books as she is about her goddess and the magic that Mystra brings to the world. Sometimes tending to be a know-it-all, the young Illuskan often has to moderate her superior-seeming attitude by being an affable person and an able negotiator.
  18. Chira cocks her crossbow and loads a bolt while waiting for the smoke to clear.
  19. Val nods to the councellor "Thank you for the assistance in equipping ourselves, we will plan and possibly arrange for the water breathing if we can't think of anything else. We are going to get my father back alive, and if we can, reignite the torch - although I think the town needs to consider alternative streams of income as it has already been shown that the torch might not be a forever thing."
  20. "Front rank, the line... you must hold it. In the corridor they must be kept." Meanwhile, Chira rides Awoo to the far left wall, opposite the opening, and engages in crossbow diplomacy with the sergeant.
  21. Oooohhh... Are we going to the Chowder House? 😉
  22. Val examines the tape, "My father needs to be found, you said the second time he disappeared it was under Black Hill?"
  23. Noriko smiles, "That's right, the last one I sent with Dimira was a loganberry pie. Can you open the door so we can talk? I want to help her, and you."
  24. I was in Dark Angel's frozen waste game. That was fun, but I guess it got to be too much?
