  1. The people on the cart look at Timoteo with alarm and surprise. "Hey, what the hell you're talking?" "Yeah, we're not wounded! So no infection, either!"   Meanwhile, the guards who reacted to Paula's unofficial instructions, look around hesitantly. They seem to be unsure whether they should disturb the lady's siesta, because that's something not many dare to do in town.
  2. I don't know. I saw something red once, but I dismissed it without reading 😛 . Is that what you are referring to?
  3. The two devastating blows from Bubba send the creature flying in the air, and his companion does not waste this opportunity and tear into it as well. The monster rolls around to get rid of his second assailant and this roll becomes a furious twirl in a few moments. When the pattern of its scales is only a blur, it suddenly stops and sends lightning all around it, shocking both of the hunters.   OOC 12 Hp damage and become Dazed from shock for a round. Make DC18 Fort saves for half damage and to shrug off getting Dazed.
  4. In the momentary quiet before it goes in the water again, both hunters can clearly hear that the other noise on land is gone now, but a splash also tells why: whatever was making that noise is in the water now. Then their first attacker coils up again, it is intent on making food from the pair.   OOC Bubba has definitely never heard or seen anything like this. The creature continues attacking, but you come first, and one more thing is coming for you.
  5. Although both attacks from the hunter scratch the creature's scales, they both glance off of it harmlessly.   The creature curves back gracefully and tries to bite the ogre, and only misses by a hair's width. Now that it lifted its head above water level, it looks like a giant snake with a crocodile's head, but its eyes are even weirder: they look like large eyes of an insect, but with much fewer facets and made from a dark green crystal, slowly changing the shade of green as it stays out of the water for a moment before diving back down.   OOC Your turn again.
  6. Ok, my laptop is working again, I'm back. And you're right, all the attacks missed.
  7. Contrary to what the passengers of the cart are saying - or screaming, rather, - nothing moves within sight of Timoteo's shielded eyes. Whatever they are afraid of is either not nearby, or hiding efficiently.   After activating his magic, Henry gets a glimpse of disgustingly filthy and rotting claws tearing into the man's side and chest, leaving savage marks in the flesh. The physical wounds look manageable by his healing magic, but the infection that already shows in his eyes is a very bad sign, considering it originated from the upper body and has already spread to the head. And his state, including both the infection and the wound seems to be about a week old.   The Dragon Dorado guards suddenly explode into motion from their curious staring as Paula's shout reminds them they are on duty, but nothing is there outside as far as she can see. The path behind them is as clear as is usual for the time of day. No person in their right mind wants to travel in such heat. Nonetheless, the gate gets closed quickly.
  8. Fingers crossed, my laptop is working again.
  9. I'll be back in a fweq days, sorry.
  10. Life is messing wirh me, bur I am here. A few days I'll be online more. Thanx for patiemce
  11.   Coordinates can always work, but I hope this will make things easier: relative hex reference. You can ask me to mark any hex with any symbol, and I'll update the map. Abbreviations, shapes, and number are all valid, and also colors.   Starting point: green dot in the white hex The grey hexes are north and south of the start, so the blue triangle is S2 from it, the black triangle is S3 from it, and the red triangle is S3E1 or S2SE1 from it. Horizontally it's easy: cyan dot is W3, the black dot is E2, orange dot is W2S1. The red square is NW2, the green square is NE3, while the blue square is NE2E1.   Starting point: black dot The blue square is N2, green square is N3, red triangle is SW3, blue triangle is SW2W1, black triangle is SW3W1.
  12. light green: grassy | TD 3 dark green: forest | TD 5 brown-grey: stones | TD 6 mountains: TD 8 trail: TD 3 0,0: Saldaña -3,0: logging camp -2,2: logging camp 0,4: old mine entrance
  13. The tools they have on the cart, their clothes and physique now make it clear that they are loggers, which means they've traveled this way a few days.   The injured man is lying on the cart, convulsing slightly, and sweating profoundly. His eyes are milky with some weird, sickly yellowish substance, though he can still see Henry, as he makes his examination. The wounds start to heal slowly, but they are all lined in a feverish dark purple, and seem to be claw marks.   A third man is also on the cart, squatting in the corner, staring into nothing with glassy eyes. He suddenly starts shouting combat warnings and instruction in a terrified high-pitched voice, still staring into nothing, talking to some imagined people.   The small crowd that gathered slowly encircles the scene, watching with increasing curiosity.
  14. Make your rolls either here or in the story thread, please. In the OOC thread they are hard to find.
  15. Exploration 10 Exploration Points / day each hex has a Terrain Difficulty, traveling from one to another costs TD1 + TD2 points if the cost is more than the group has, they can still travel, but will have negative sum of EP, which is auto-paid from next day's amount if the group still want to explore / move when in the negative, it will hurt in some way each hex has features to be discovered a feature can have hazards a feature can have rewards open features are automatically discovered when the group first enters the hex general features are discovered at fixed stages, such as one feature / 7 EP special features also are discovered at fixed stages and checked against the same progress, but at higher limits, like one / 12 EP closed features can only be discovered when a condition is fulfilled, and checked against a separate progress if the group spends X Ep on exploring, they'll gain dX+X progress depending on terrain visibility, the group will be able to see surrounding land, which will appear on the map   I'm also planning to use progress bars: ▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮▮
  16. I absolutely agree. I like the three casters group concept very much.   And if they feel unsafe, they can always hire a bodyguard or two for melee. That is, if / when they have money for it.
  17. It's not an animal, so only one attack hits. Could you make a damage roll for that attack?
  18. On an unrelated note, since all of you used the single talent at chargen to get spells, how about getting one more to have some variety for the PCs?
  19. Yeah, but if the rolls are not valid, how can they have results?   And I'm not talking about the validity of your rolls, I'm talking about glitches in the Dice Tower.
  20. As the cart and its company drew closer, the indistinct shouts gradually became words and phrases: - "Help! Bring the healers!" - "Beware! Close the doors, before they get in!" - "Someone wake up the healers!"   In contrast to the desperation in the voices who made the shouts, few people actually did anything, still gaping at the unbelievable scene. One person started to walk towards the Cruz Roja hall, and one asked no-one in general The Dragón Dorado? quietly, but otherwise everyone waited to see what nonsense this was about to turn out.   Henry's question wasn't in vain, though: a large, muscled man shouted back frantically, all the while waving widely. "Yes, please, he's dying!!!"
  21. strange that you have roll results but I can't see the rolls themselves in this post
  22. Soon enough the swimmer is revealed, as the scaled body of a large animal erupts from the water, though it is hard to tell whether it's a snake or an alligator, or something in between. However, it's not the head and teeth that come first, but the body itself with a splash of water, mud, and slime, aimed at the hunters' faces and eyes, in a diagonal arc.   OOC Bubba and Chickenbone come first, but the splash attack happens anyway, even if they kill the attacker. Make a DC12 Reflex save for each, and a DC15 Fortitude save for who fails the Reflex save. The second one is against the poison in the slime.   Attacker AC is 16. It's scaled, slimy and moving surprisingly fast.
  23. And we are on air!   I'd like everyone to be in the market, for whatever reason. You can be new in town, even your first day of arrival, or long-time residents, but currently in the market. You won't need to leave in a moment's notice on adventure, but can spend time after this scene preparing, settling in, etc.
  24. Well, it's up to you whether you run into them, tiptoe around them, or use the environment against them, and other creative ways of dealing with them. Maybe even talking???   Anyway, I like it that you are all casters, and we have no fighters. Will make the game a smart and social one.
  25. The hunter can see a very slight series of ripples heading towards the reeds, slowly and carefully. It cannot be too deep, judged by the fine waves it makes.
