  1. Ulp! I apologize for the typo. Sometimes I get a little mathematically challenged. In any case, thank you for accepting the selected spells. I will note the additions on my M-W character sheet and my original application. I will also make note of the additional Sorcerer class feature, Magical Guidance. Thank you for making Potions of Healing available to us as a freebie. I wanted the items because I figured we would be getting into combat at least once or twice and could use some insurance even though Aurora as a druid might be able to heal members of Team: Cauldron with her Cure Wounds spell. As for the remaining 330gp (I hope I got that right!), I'm still debating whether to stick with the Ring of Jumping or trade it in for the communication device. A few questions, though -- do you only purchase one device or is it a set of two like a Sending Stone? If only one device, who would receive the communiques from the possessor?
  2. Well, if it is permitted to trade Mickey's two magic items for three additional spells, he'll go with Mage Armor, Counterspell, and Dispel Magic. All are Sorcerer spells, so the cost would be 320gp and he wouldn't have to roll to learn them. That leaves him with 330gp to spend from the initial 750gp. So, since we're rather lean on healing spells on Team: Cauldron, he'll buy six Potions of Healing. If that's okay.
  3. I think I saw THE BLACK CAULDRON when it first came out in movie theaters, and I don't remember much. I've never read any of THE CHRONICLES OF PRYDAIN series, either. TBH, I've never seen THE EMPEROR'S NEW GROOVE or MOANA, for that matter. I have seen (and enjoyed) BRAVE, TANGLED, SLEEPING BEAUTY, and MULAN.
  4. OOC, where did your characters study and train? Up until now, I've not read any backstories to preserve the notion that Mickey has never met any of you before. Where do the princesses learn magic? It seems that everybody, both on Team: Cauldron and Team: Sundial, know some magic. Do they teach magic in the Princess Academy? Do they only teach it in the Mage Towers but courses are open to royalty? Do the various spellcasters study together or do they have separate schools/programs for wizards, warlocks, sorcerers, paladins, druids, clerics, and bards?

The owl was a little snooty but otherwise a good fellow to know. The red-headed teen girl was unfamiliar to the Mouse, but the blonde teenager... "Jiminy Cricket!!!" the black-haired apprentice yelped, his conical cap tumbling off his head to be desperately, clumsily caught in both four-fingered hands. The young sorcerer immediately knelt down upon one knee and bowed his head. "You-your Majesty! Uh, um, it... it's a g-g-great honor, sir!" As he waited for Arthur, the High-King, to give him leave to rise, he considered the great wizard's offer. This was his opportunity to become a powerful spellcaster like his old mentor, Yesnid. To learn spells under the tutelage of the greatest magician in the world. What more could a sorcerer aspire to? (Well, yes, marrying Princess Minnie was always on his mind, but this... this was BIG time!) (Just don't tell Minnie!) However, one of Yesnid's old lessons stuck in his mind. "Remember, my boy! Magic always demands a price. The greater the magic, the greater the price. Think well and long before you commit." While he waited for permission, the little spellcaster surreptitiously took out his money purse and counted his current "wealth". A lone moth flew out of the bedraggled, old leather pouch. A quick survey told him he had 7 gold pazoozas, 2 silver, and 95 copper. He gulped loudly and put away his purse. This was going to be a lot harder than he thought. Then he got a bright idea! Maybe Merlin would accept Yesnid's antique Periapt of Wound Closure and ancient Ring of Jumping in exchange for this advanced magical training. The Mouse continued to wait for a sign from King Arthur. Mechanics OOC: n/a Main Hand: Empty Off Hand: Empty Action: Mickey's action goes here. Bonus Action: Mickey's bonus action goes here. 6. Nevertheless, I appreciate your help and guidance. Thanks!
  7. , I suppose when you get the chance to post the "Store: Spell Research", you will specify what our limitations are in procuring any "common and uncommon ranked magical item or potion", i.e., level and budget.
  8. Um, I just checked . I don't think I can Take 10 or 20 on Retraining, even in Downtime. 🤔 Activity: You spend the day focused on a particular skill in which you don’t have the maximum number of ranks. At the end of the day, attempt a skill check with that skill (DC= 10 + 1-1/2 your level). You can’t take 10 or take 20 on this check.
  9. Hey, I'll take it. Many thanks, . I'll make the changes accordingly on the character application.

If it's all the same to you, I'd like to go with, um, Aurora, Eilonwy and Rapunzel to Morva to get the black cauldron." Then the young apprentice noticed that the person he was previously talking to -- Milo, wasn't it? -- was no longer there! The Mouse's jaw grew slack and he gaped, rubbing his eyes with both of his gloved hands. Gee, wiz! That fella must've been some kind of powerful wizard or something. He just up and disappeared. 12. , if Ginny tries to locate the main central unit governing the hibernation pods, what would be the difficulty to do that with her engineering tricorder? What traits would she need to do this?
  13. May I assume that the game is on hold until we get an 8th player?
  14. DARWYN PRIESTLY ("Morgan Hunt") - Outlaw Human Operative 1 HP: 10/10 | SP: 8/8| RP: 5/5 | EAC: 15 | KAC: 16 | FORT: +2 | REF: +6 | WILL: +4 | INITIATIVE: +5 LINK: PRIMARY WEAPON: Azimuth Laser Pistol - 1d4F - 20/24 As the tiny ship made its way swiftly and surely into the skies above Castrovel and into the great void under Akari's expert hands, Jin and Duncan finally told "Morgan" what had transpired back on that misbegotten black hole of a planet while he was dealing with that Ysoki recruiter. (Of course, no one thanked him for the maintenance work done on the ship's systems while they were away on their misadventure. After all, it's just his job. Right?) In any event, on the first day of their journey to Akiton, the ex-smuggler's instincts had kicked into hyper-drive, so he started monitoring the BD514's scanners in earnest for any signs of potential threats -- in front of, in back of, and all around them. However, by the end of his first watch, he started to ease up on his self-inflicted penance. So on the next day, while he would still intermittently check the freighter's sensors for any activity, he decided to continue his studies on the physical universe. Binging on more QUANTA articles on astrophysics, he continued to better himself academically. Well, what the hezmana? Who knew that cosmology could be so fascinating? Gravitational waves, cosmic strings, dark matter -- krell….. However, whenever he tried to focus, stuff would continually happen to distract him. Of course he had to take his turn at the helm, but when he tried to read while in his bunk, Akari's stupid pet would run around into his quarters, knocking things over, then rushing out. Raenela was busy recording her vidcasts nonstop around the ship. Davir kept belting out outlandish barroom tunes at the top of his besotted voice at the oddest times. Jin was always working on Whiskey, fine-tuning her, when he wasn't on working on the engines. And Duncan just kept exercising all over the place. By the time they got to Akiton, Darwyn had given up and returned to just monitoring the various sensors!
