  1. I'm addicted to tweaking PCs right up until the deadline, but not today. The process of having to save in the character program, export, and paste has kept me under control ^_^ I'm going to assume that Superion knowing Rescuer exists doesn't cost anything. I'm not planning to call on him for help in any way. It's just that every time Superion fights someone like Volcano there's a ton of fires to put out, so Rescuer shows up to not fight the villain.
  2. I can do daily, except when I go out of town for a few days, and take a vacation from the internet.
  3. HP: 10/11 FP: 6/11 Conditions: "Thank ye, Hank," Fili says after stumbling to a stop. "Ya going in first, Richard?" she asks, facing in the wrong direction. "I kin't swing this staff in that narrow hole." OOC:
  4. You have EGO 20 and PRE 20, both of which say 14- on your character sheet. When I put 20 into Hero Designer, I only get a 13- roll. I'm unsure which of us is doing this wrong, and since I have a high PRE, too, I'd like to get what I deserve. Edit: looks like all the other app agree with mine, that a 20 stat gives a 13- roll. Maybe I'm misreading your skill levels somewhere.
  5. Could I ask you to rename this thread? Apparently only GMs can do that.
  6. Looks like you've got a good angle on getting the party together. My character has social skills and contacts for dealing with The Man, not being party leader. Looks like you're getting set up as leader, if I'm not mistaken.
  7. I picture John as chasing disasters rather than gang violence. A fire, a building collapse, a flood; something people need rescuing from. But his powers also lend themselves to finding missing people, like kidnap victims, and that's sometimes what the members of the governing class are interested in from him. So Drayden Flats might be outside his zone, unless there are a lot of deathstrap slum properties there. The rundown student housing deathtraps are usually enough to keep him busy.
  8. I've never been to a gaming con. I tried roleplaying with strangers at LitSF cons a couple of times, but it didn't work for me. Live with friends, sure. PbP with friends and strangers, sure. But for some reason, not live with strangers.
  9. HP: 11/11 FP: 6/11 Conditions: Fili turns and takes a few steps back, holding out her hands to indicate the others should press up against the walls to give her room. Then she runs towards the snakes and jumps to catch up to Hank. OOC:
  10. Somewhere I must have fixed that TF cost, and then forgotten to adjust for it. I removed 1cp of Mental Defense to pay for it. Back down to 300 (+2 for the PS). Added a paragraph at the end of post number 2 saying where he lives and what he owns.
  11. I guess I see Rescuer as political, in the sense he's connected to those who run the government. He's not a politician, though, if that's what you mean. He knows the comfortably wealthy professional elites, not the old-money types. I'm putting his home in the art district in adjacent to the community college in Auberdeen, by the Powhaten River.
  12. Pinging you about a possible pre-game connection. We both worked for the city government, and perhaps worked together at a crime scene, when John was a novice superhero and Chester was still a normal detective. Perhaps John rescued you from your chemical accident and got you to the hospital, and sympathized with your new superhero-ish-ness. (John isn't open about how he became a super, but can sympathize, since he wasn't born one). Maybe recently you got back in touch with him because of your app, and found him dubious. John isn't in this for the mony. John's popularity sells his art, which keeps him funded.
  13. I think there's some confusion in this question and answer... Let me try again. Is OMCV 6, DCV 6 enough? Or am I trying to shave off cp in the wrong place?
