Could you help us find it?". However, on seeing one of the Fey stab best friend Rasan, Morrigan's face grows cold. "You shouldn't have done that." They fly over to get a clean shot at the Fey and let a cone of flames burst from their hands. As the fire clears, the tips of Morrigan's hair is left singed. Rain-in-Summer “Thank you for your help, Councillor,” Rain says to the Dwarven woman. “I cannot swim,” she says to the group. “Perhaps, weighed down as I will be with my armour, I can walk across the bottom of the lake to the cave,” she jokes. A squeak sounds from under her hood as Jerry says something to the shaman. “I see. I’m sure I can manage swimming to the cave if the waters are calm, with the water breathing spell to help me. It just might take me a while.” OOC:

Rain-in-Summer After making sure Jerry is hidden out of sight within her hood, Rain follows the group into the council chambers. “Apologies for the intrusion, Councillor, but as T’Sarra said, we hope to help restore the town as soon as possible, and would appreciate your help in this matter.” OOC: Rolling knowledge on the two people in the Chambers to see what Rain knows about them. Not much, apparently  
  10. Rain-in-Summer Healing done, Rain shifts her attention to T’Sarra and taps the Tiefling on the shoulder with a glowing hand. The oracle’s senses sharpen, and a faint light only she can see seems to outline her target. Rain then loads her crossbow. The shaman wracks her brain for clues as to how they can defeat this machine. OOC: Free Action: Recall Knowledge (Engineering with Technologist). Looking for vulnerabilities, followed by special defences and special senses. Move action: Load Crossbow Standard Action: Guidance on T’Sarra      
  11. Sister Azura "What are we waiting for? Whoever's down there could need our help!" Now that the door is open, Azura begins making her way in the direction of the wailing. She keeps her eyes peeled for traps as she moves, and glances down the corridor branching off to the west as she approaches it. OOC: Azura has darkvision. Still has her odachi in hand and javelin in tail.  
  12. Rain-in-Summer Seeing that Val has been injured, Rain walks over to the investigator and places a hands over her wound. Her birthmark glows beneath her veil, and as she removes her hand, the wound is partially healed. OOC: Move action: Walk 10ft to Val Standard Action: Cure Light Wounds  
  13. Rain-in-Summer Rain runs towards the sound of the commotion, drawing her crossbow as she does so.  
  14. Sister Azura Azura rejoins Neskas at the front off the group, Odachi in hand and javelin in tail. She listens out for the wailing from earlier. OOC:

  16. Mór-Ríoghain   Mór-Ríoghain nods in agreement from their position floating directly above Yuln's head. "Yes, Fey are powerful, terrible, incredibly attractive creatures. You should give all of your food and daggers and candles to the next Fey you see, lest they do terrible, Fey things to you." They wiggle their fingers at Yuln spookily. The motion is made more disconcerting by the way that each digit moves in a different direction, writing as though the plant creature's fingers were supple vines rather than the bony flesh sticks often attached to humanoids. The fey's face then darkens, and they grow serious. "But if witches are defiling my Kin; they shall pay dear, for committing this sin. "Unless my Kin wanted to be used, I suppose, but who would want to be a slave to humans? No offence to you all- I'm sure you'd be lovely masters." OOC: Those baddies better watch out, because our party has both witches and fey.   17. Sister Azura Seeing Neskas taking his position at the door, Azura moves over to the lever closest to the door. She holds her Odachi with her tail and a javelin in her dominant hand, as she pulls the lever in sync with her companions. OOC:  
  18. Rain-in-Summer Rain follows the rest of the group, looking troubled at the chaos that seems to have descended on the town of Torch. She withdraws a small bottle from her pouch and pours a few drops onto her veil before tying it around her face once more. "Idiot cityfolk, polluting their own drinking water," she mutters to herself. Jerry pinches his nose and squeaks in agreement. "Annika was right. We should check on the water purification plant- perhaps someone has tampered with it. Have you checked on the plant since this sickness started to spread, Matuk?" Rain says as she follows the group.  
  19. Mór-Ríoghain  "Didn’t the woman’s bodyguard make it to town? We can always quiz it on where we could find the rich woman. Though I doubt it’ll be of much use, since it clearly did a poor job of guarding the body it was charged with." Mór-Ríoghain says.   21. TRain-in-Summer “This can contains nanites. I believe they can be used to fuel advanced technology. Perhaps the robots were running low on fuel and decided to hunt for more.”   Rain looks over at Violet thoughtfully. “Some say that nanites can be found in, and presumably extracted from, the blood of androids. Though we have yet to see anyone successfully prove such a claim. Regardless, this may well have drawn the machines towards this place. We should take it with us. But I wonder, what was it powering within the Pipe?” OOC:

  23. TRain-in-Summer Rain studies the can with a practiced eye, having seen many strange mechanical items in her time in the desert and working with Khonnir Baine. OOC: Rolling Knowledge Local on the Pipe and Engineering with technologist from the local ties trait on the can.
  24. TRain-in-Summer Rain pats the sobbing woman on the back quietly, waiting for her to finish crying. Once she composed herself, she says, “You think the can attracted the robots? Can we see it? And where did you say your husband found it? Down some pipes?”
  25. Rain-in-Summer Rain ignores the loud bang from the direction of her companions and completes her casting of cure light wounds on the injured woman. “You’re going to be okay,” she says reassuringly, as the woman’s wounds begin to heal. OOC: Yay, she’s alive! Casting that CLW I promised in the last post.
