  1. I think it may break what little 'cover' we have going if we start to negotiate after Silas already agreed to pay in full - it at least seems suspicious. And it's not our money, I say let's buy the birds and be off before something goes awry.
  2. Wish I checked the OOC thread a little earlier, - hope your nonprofit makes a positive impact and continues to grow. I was enjoying our characters' back-and-forth, maybe we'll see you around the 'Weave down the line. Best of luck! EDIT: I agree we should get the GM's word before we do anything, although I don't have an issue with what was actually written; maybe Alandri gets a tropical illness and is bedridden, and the class moves on without him? Heck, there could be a whole side quest there (food poisoning? poisoning poisoning?). Or not, just spouting off. It is a little stinky to lose our Sorcerer
  3. "Hi-ho," Brother Bruti says in mock cheer, pumping his swordarm for deemphasis and heading into the passage, gesturing in acknowledgement to Kaspar by way of a nod.             Stats, Actions, Etc Stats & Spells Brother Leslus Bruti Variant Human Cleric - War Domain 3 NG AC 16 (18) HP 23 Speed 25ft Str 10 (0) Dex 15 (2) Con 13 (1) Wis 16 (3) Int 12 (1) Cha 8 (-1) Attacks Longbow (150/600) +4 1d8+2 P Scimitar +4 1d6+2 S Spell Attack +5 DC 13 Dagger +4 1d4+2 P War Priest - 2/3 per long rest Cantrips Guidance, Toll the Dead, Sacred Flame Prepared Spells - 6 L1 - Guiding Bolt, Healing Word, Command, Detect Evil and Good; Divine Favor, Shield of Faith L2 - Hold Person, Enhance Ability; Magic Weapon, Spiritual Weapon Spell Slots L1 - 3/4 L2 - 1/2 Actions/OOC Action: Bonus: Interact: Move: Free: maintaining concentration on Magic Weapon Reaction:
  4. Bhagat already has all MW stuff so we can skedaddle
  5. Glad someone brought this up, I'm used to the houserule that we auto-gather loot and then divvy it up OOC (like here!) I'd love a clip of the semi-auto bullets (or more, I think I fired 6 rounds with my pistol and one or two with the rifle). I'm a Firebrand and can use Bombs, so anything that might help me take better advantage of them is cool, although I don't know what that might be offhand aside from one of those jai alai things
  6. Silas Foljet - Catfolk Thaumaturge AC: 17 | HP: 17/17 | Fortitude: +6 | Reflex: +6 | Will: +4 | Perception: +4 "Done. Take care of that, would you, Jeeves? I wish to retire homewards before lunch." Silas, speaking curtly and with an air of disinterest, directed the second half of his remark towards Alandri with a vague fiddly gesture of the fingers, barely turning his head back to look at Malfore. It was no feat to come off as a haughty, privileged aristocrat who viewed his time and whim as more important than any cost - objectively speaking, that's what Silas is. Natural as the moisturized and stylishly waxed whiskers on his face. Turning away from Makena, and displaying a fanged grin to the rest, Silas made a show of very closely examining his nails in a way that communicated an entitled sort of impatience. 7. Could be advantageous to taunt opponents on the other side and goad them into bottlenecking themselves for us, but who knows what's there right now.

"Thanks, black magic woman. And I agree we should get moving," he remarks, taking Dan's lead and reloading his irons. 10. Silas Foljet - Catfolk Thaumaturge AC: 17 | HP: 17/17 | Fortitude: +6 | Reflex: +6 | Will: +4 | Perception: +4 Silas follows along with the group, staying silent but wearing an obvious bemused expression as he soaks in the aura of the various and sundry booths and barkers. He loved it; this was where the magic truly was for Silas, unique among the Foljets. A thing was just, well, a thing until it passed through sapient hands and touched the essence of life. Silas mused that in a bazaar such as this, any number of seemingly innocuous objects could one day become key to strange power. A trinket, a utensil, even the coin used to pay for it. He felt hungry. ~ Coming upon Seydou, Silas' daydreaming is cut short when he notices the many caged animals. His nose wrinkles in an expression of disgust - the smell was a potent mix, to keep things family-friendly - and perhaps a bit of sympathy. There were those that saw his own kind as the perfect 'exotic companion,' and Silas himself found the whole idea of pets a bit unhygienic. One shouldn't play with one's food. Largely ignoring the stinky man's prattle, Silas clears his throat and raises his eyebrows forcefully towards Alandri, getting the absolute most out of his new whispering trick that he could. Cough. All yours, buddy. Cough. Mechanics/OOC OOC: Action 1: Action 2: Action 3: Free Action:
  11. And how do we want to position ourselves in front of it? I assume we want Leslus up front with one other guy and a third back a pace or two, last one pulls the door and uses it to get a backstab or something? Are we all capable of opening the door, or is it super heavy? Pretty sure I can't open the door holding a weapon and shield, and I don't want to put my sword away or drop my shield if I'm readying for Hobgoblin violence. And I don't even know if I can put my sword away and open a door without breaking my concentration on Magic Weapon
  12. thanks, it's been hectic around here. I actually have the whole thing about 85% written and 100% done mechanically, just need to sit down and format it all out, so we should have a finished product before the weekend is over
  13. Sorry for my lack of a recent post, I just changed jobs and had my first week in an office after working from home for 3 years and I'm not sitting around with a a tab open to MW all day anymore 😉 Getting used to the new schedule, should be back to consistent this week
  14. It would be pretty overpowered to get a whole attack with its own target from a basic weapon, that's what I thought.
  15. If my first shot kills a guy, do I aim the Extra shot at the next guy, assuming they're reasonably close? Or is it a straight double-tap to one target only? and more importantly, do they have a touch AC of 15 or less?
  16. Bhagat Garibaldi | AC 19 | CMB +7 | BAB +3 | Hit Points: 31/38 | Size: Medium | Speed: 30 ft | Init: +5 | Fort: +6 | Ref: +7 | Will: +5 | Grit: 3/3 | Luck: 5/7 (active rounds remaining: 0 after this one) Bhagat had to give the PURE boys credit, they were definitely squirrely. His postil slides into his shooting hand as he pokes around the corner, his finger finds the trigger, and he squeezes it twice in rapid succession, his colorless eyes locking onto the two men still upright in the doorway. 17. "Neat," mumbles Leslus to himself as he nabs one of the Hobgoblin daggers and slips it into his belt. Continuing alongside his fellows, he squints over the unremarkable storage area and notices the door on the other side.   "What do we think is on the other side of that?"         Stats, Actions, Etc Stats & Spells Brother Leslus Bruti Variant Human Cleric - War Domain 3 NG AC 16 (18) HP 23 Speed 25ft Str 10 (0) Dex 15 (2) Con 13 (1) Wis 16 (3) Int 12 (1) Cha 8 (-1) Attacks Longbow (150/600) +4 1d8+2 P Scimitar +4 1d6+2 S Spell Attack +5 DC 13 Dagger +4 1d4+2 P War Priest - 2/3 per long rest Cantrips Guidance, Toll the Dead, Sacred Flame Prepared Spells - 6 L1 - Guiding Bolt, Healing Word, Command, Detect Evil and Good; Divine Favor, Shield of Faith L2 - Hold Person, Enhance Ability; Magic Weapon, Spiritual Weapon Spell Slots L1 - 3/4 L2 - 1/2 Actions/OOC Action: Guiding Bolt on the Hobs, whichever one I have the clear shot at Bonus: Interact: Move: Free: maintaining concentration on Magic Weapon Reaction:
  18. Still going! This past week was my first at a new job in a new office after working from home for the last 3+ years so I barely checked in at all, can't just keep MW open in a tab while I work anymore so I've got to move my posting routine to the evening
  19. Just your basic Variant Human School of Abjuration Wizard, with me thinking that a caster focused on defense makes a good addition to this type of campaign, and I never play Wizards or defensive casters, so it's a chance to stretch my proverbial legs. Metaphorical legs? Flan Abernathy is a young bookish man who dreams big of becoming a powerful archmage, and is an altruist who believes magic can be harnessed for the ultimate good of all, and plans to establish an arcane-fueled utopia once he reaches epic levels.
  20. Not a newbie either, but as other games stall and die one must continue to RP somewhere 😉 I'm not quite the master of 5e that I was with PF1 just yet, but I could be helpful to a party that includes some newer players and to a newish GM. And a chance for me to try out a class I haven't gotten around to yet in 5e.
  21. You know what's a fun ranged character? Divine Marksman Ranger, or Ilsurian Archer depending on your source. You give up casting and a few meh abilities to be awesome at using a bow and be able to use Favored Enemy against everything. No magic, just brutal archery.
  22. The Archaeologist gets some more cool stuff later, but Archaeologist's Luck comes at Level 1 and that's the real meat of the archetype. I get all the good Rogue stuff pretty much - Evasion, Trap Sense, and some Rogue Talents down the line.
