  1. Let's wait a little for the other player. And make a decision if he doesn't appear, continue with three or try other approach.
  2. Not enough. The problem is that without a basic attack the character needs an attack that can allow to generate an energy reserve, which it is not the case here. Reconfiguration does nothing as it was. And the main attack has a diminishing return, if it was used repetitively, the combination creates an unplayable character. So it needs to fixed in my opinion. Not necessarily be a new attack, but add more.
  3. Ok, I think it is fine, but I am not satisfied with the current abilities. Some change is required to reconfiguration, specially because there is no basic attack. So here are my proposals: 1) Reconfiguration: Cost 2, Deals 1d4 damage to a target, and choose one effect: +2 health, +2 speed or -2 Technique Exhaustion. 2) Reconfiguration: Cost 2, Deals 1d4 damage to a target, and choose one effect: +2 damage in the next attack, +2 speed or -2 Technique Exhaustion. 3) Reconfiguration: Cost 2, Deals 1d4 damage to a target, and get +1 speed and -1 Technique Exhaustion.
  4. Park Stadium | AspectsBloodline: Ardent - Tough as Nails (4-Track Trait) - Youโ€™re a natural survivor. Rolls made to treat or heal an injury you're suffering from treat conflicts as triumphs. - Ironclad Mind (4-Track Trait) - You are immune to hallucinations, mesmerics and mental compulsions. Origin: Ridgeback - Archaeodermis (2-Track Trait) - Your skin (or whatever you have as an outer covering) mimics the mountain you were raised on. You're immune to keen damage, as well as bites and stings from small creatures. - Shamanic Idol (4-Track Gear) - Holds a sliver of power from a not-quite-god. Deals LR salt damage. Post: Char - Taste Test (4-Track Trait) - You're immune to poisons, and can determine their presence and characteristics by taste alone. - Seasoned Cleaver (2-Track Gear) - As useful on the battlefield as it is in the galley. Deals CQ hewing damage. Increase impact when acquiring dangerous or disruptive specimens. Extra - The Manticore Recipe (3-Track Adventure) - Park can spend an action during a montage or journey and consume a manticore bloom specimen to learn more about it. He must pass one Cook test (done), one Harvest/Tides test, and one Tend/Tides test to fill the track. When he does, he will be able to come up with a cure. | EdgesGrace, Instinct & Tides | SkillsDelve: 0 Vault: 2 Wavewalk: 0 Hunt: 2 Study: 0 Sense: 3 Harvest: 3 Scavenge: 0 Tend: 2 Concoct: 0 Cook: 3 Rattle: 0 Flourish: 0 Outwit: 0 Sway: 0 Brace: 0 Break: 0 Hack: 0 | LanguagesLow Sour | ResourcesCook Utensils (Salvage) Bag of Spices (Specimen) Tonic of Health (Specimen) Liquid Fire (Specimen) Carrion Weed (Specimen) Manticore Bloom (Specimen) Afraid that this day is finally the day the sky decided to fall on his head, Park is determined to find a shelter as fast as he can. He thinks he should look for the bug butchers, and search for answers to his questions. His determination is unwavering, as stable as a mountain. He will save Tolliver, find a cure for him and be a hero he is destined to be. A real adventurer and a fearsome explorer. That thought is engraved on his mind. He will be like an arrow, flying a straight path to his target. And he starts moving ahead one foot each time. Except as soon as he gives the third step his nostrils smell some sort of delicious cookery. And when he regains his consciousnesses, he already deviated from his path and he is following the odor. His nose a step ahead of him indicating the path. Actions Option: Duck into the nearby building made from solid stone from which delicious-smelling smoke emanated; some sort of cookery.
  5. Instead of receiving damage for Nanite Cloud, it would be better reducing the effectiveness of the ability. Is it possible to change for that? Specially because you cannot guarantee the outcome, and at later stages it does more damage to the caster than actual healing or damage. Basically restricting to one use per battle.
  6. I have a question: Is there a basic attack that you can use without requiring the expense of energy?
  7. Hi! I finished my application. It is ready for review.
  8. Yxanthymir About me: I'm in my early 40's, and I work a lot. I also have two young daughters at home. My time/energy/focus is somewhat limited, but I post at the minimum 2 to 3 times per week (with some exceptions). Once I commit to something I try to stick to it, and always inform if I will be absent. I'm interested in being a: GM Assistant, GM Sub Systems I'm comfortable with: D&D 4e and 5e, 13th Age, Powered by The Apocalypse and Fate. Systems that are a bit of a stretch: - Systems I'm interested in learning: Any light system Skills/strengths/interests: I am like Isaac Asimov. Great ideas, serviceable execution. I have great ideas, and love to weave convoluted plots with many possible outcomes, but my writing style is barren. I like to be direct and go straight to the matter, without a lot of flourish; but I am trying to improve in this regard. Best way to contact me: a PM here
  9. Name: XYZ-QWERT-ABC-MNBVC Age: Unknown Height: 150 cm Weight: 50 kg Like: Useful information, clear components, logic, preserving life Dislike: Techno virus, fake news, illogical assumptions, waste of resources Concept: A biological machine from a world dominated by machines. Background: XYZ-QWERT-ABC-MNBVC is a biological machine, just one among millions of similar machines, whose only purpose is to maintain the world it was tasked to protect and care. For many centuries, these machines are the only intelligent beings living in their homeworld. In the distant past, when the cosmos was still young and teeming with the wonders of creation, there existed a race of beings whose intelligence far surpassed any other known species. These beings, whose name has long been lost to the annals of time, had achieved a level of mastery over science and technology that bordered on the divine. Driven by a catastrophic disaster, this ancient race embarked on a grand experiment: to engineer a series of biological machines capable of maintaining the delicate balance of life and nature in their homeworld. These machines were not mere automatons; they possessed a level of sophistication and complexity that rivaled and surpassed the most advanced forms of organic life. Among these creations was a being unlike any otherโ€”a biological machine known simply as "Epsilon". The first exemplar of its race. Epsilon was designed with a singular purpose: to serve as the custodian of the world, tirelessly working to ensure its continued existence and prosperity. Endowed with intelligence, adaptability, and a vast array of tools and abilities, Epsilon was the epitome of its creators' ingenuity. XYZ-QWERT-ABC-MNBVC carries Epsilon's desire into the future, tirelessly continuing its divine task, to ensure its homeworld continued existence and prosperity against all forms of calamities and enemies. Stats: Health 10 Speed 7 Stamina 13 Techniques: Nanite Cloud: Emergency Repairs: Can use the nanites to fix anything (biological, material or mechanical) it studies the nature. 10. Everything is all right. Just swamped with work, studies and some personal problems.
  11. Please explain the nature of the power, and these tags: The world speaks to me; Fact or fiction?; The rational explanation; Black company office worker; Office Thespian; A strange, strange man; Allusionary world & Know-it-all anti-conformist.
  12. Started God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert.
  13. I am back. I hope we still have a game to run, and a new player. ๐Ÿ˜ถโ€๐ŸŒซ๏ธ
  14. I find it a good show, but I don't think it is that good. Maybe I am comparing my experience with the book, which I absolutely loved.
  15. For the action, if still possible, go try to find the Bug Butchers at the neighboring district, and ask them for help solving Tolliver's affliction.
  16. Sorry, I was busy with real life stuff, but I am still here. I like the concept, but some tags will need some explanation. I will point them later.
  17. Sorry, I have some personal problems and I need to be away for a few days.
  18. Sorry, I have some personal problems and I need to be away for a few days.
  19. This probably is the right choice anyway, or we will have only two players. So we will probably take a break during this month, unless we can recrute new players.
  20. Just a few suggestions: You can use Space Continuum Sensitivity to try to locate the portals remains. You can try to go to the school and inquire for the girl. You can search the area where the car disappeared. You can talk to one person that claims to have seen the ghost. You can look for the weirdo that lives outside of town. You can browse the occult store.
  21. Time is the main reason. I really like to be a GM, but I don't know if I am a good one or not. I can only GM at most one game at a time, due time constraints.
  22. Same experience here. I didn't finish the trilogy.
  23. I don't mind. Not every post needs to be a great one...
